You don’t have to burn books to destroy a culture. Just get people to stop reading them. Ray Bradbury

Sobering thought, isn’t it? Yet if the activity of the book blogging world is any indication, we have lots of people who still read books –lots of books!

Check out the blog tours I’ve participated in:

Avenge the Dead by Jackie Baldwin (police procedural)

The Holdout by Graham Moore (legal thriller)

The Mentor by Lee Matthew Goldberg (satirical thriller/suspense)

The Art of Murder by J. S. Strange  (cozy mystery)

And one from Netgalley:

Never Forget by Martin Michaud  (police procedural)

Plus read an excerpt from a new novel:

Read an excerpt from San Diego Dead by Mark Nolan

Plus two guest posts

Guest post: author Sally Zigmond on Conscientious Objectors in WWI (author of The Lark Ascending, historical fiction about the aftermath of WWI.)

Guest post: Steven Jacob, author of Nobody’s Heroes  (author of Nobody’s Heroes, historical fiction about the black regiment out of Harlem during WWI.)

And in case you find yourself with too many books, here’s my process for how to get rid of books.

How about you? What books did you read and/or review this month? Share in the comments!
