The past two weeks have been slow work for me. Life’s been busy. (Isn’t it always?) I’ve started work on a new novel and I’m inching along, feeling my way forward. This quotation from J. R. R. Tolkien struck me as appropriate. How about you? Are you moving forward in your life work? Let this quote be an encouragement that pace isn’t always the most important thing; it just as important to show up and do it, whatever it is for you: writing, reading, working, living life.
